Going on 3 years.

How did you begin reviewing for other journals and for JBJS in particular?

Like many of us, I have my mentors to thank. I began reviewing during my fellowship after I sought out involvement. I believe that research is the key to helping advance the field of orthopaedic surgery and sports and shoulder surgery. Contributing to the research landscape and staying current on the latest research allows me to provide the latest and best treatments for all my patients, tailored to each individual.

What has been the highlight of your career (so far)?

We are truly blessed to be a part of such an amazing and rewarding field. The highlight of my career so far has been having the privilege of taking care of collegiate athletes. I have been a team physician for Merrimack College for the past three years. Taking care of these Division I student athletes has been both challenging and fulfilling.

Aside from orthopaedic manuscripts, what have you been reading lately?

I try to keep up to date with the latest practices not only through peer reviewed journals but through other sources including AAOS Now, Doximity, and UpToDate. I also add breadth to my experience through Forbes and other news outlets.
