JBJS is currently seeking orthopaedic surgeons who could serve as orthopaedic content experts. They will assist in content development for the JBJS Clinical Classroom educational system.
Launched in 2017, JBJS Clinical Classroom is an interactive adaptive learning system that observes how individuals learn. The system tailors their experience to focus on their specific knowledge gaps. As the learner progresses through the system, the adaptive algorithm presents questions and learning resources. It helps identify topics and content that the learner has not yet mastered or about which they are not confident.
Orthopaedic Content is divided into 11 subspecialty areas, including:
- Adult Hip Reconstruction
- Adult Knee Reconstruction
- Trauma
- Sports Medicine
- Pediatrics
- Hand & Wrist
- Shoulder & Elbow
- Foot & Ankle
- Spine
- Oncology
- Basic Science
JBJS is seeking board-certified orthopaedic surgeons with at least 5 years of experience following residency or fellowship. Content experts will help develop questions and learning resources in these subspecialty areas. Candidates should have a passion for orthopaedic education.
